Walk from Comely Bank to Stockbridge with a guide such as Jenny, Xander, or Kieran, stopping at local cheese shops and a deli for around seven cheese samples, possible pâté, and a glass of prosecco or wine. Most tastings take place outdoors, so wear weather-ready shoes and clothing.

“Jenny was our guide. We had a great time. The cheese was interesting and plentiful and Jenny was full of information. The people we met on the tour were good company. We will be happy to recommend the tour to others.”

2.Scottish Cheese OR Scottish Charcuterie Tasting at Errichel

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 10 reviews · 50 minutes (approx.) · from $39Best value

At Errichel Farm near Aberfeldy, Becky guides you through five Scottish cheeses at 2:15pm or five Scottish charcuterie items at 2:45pm. You’ll learn how each item is made, taste it with chutney and other pairings, and take home a Scotland tasting map and flavour guide. The small group is limited to eight.

“Brilliant birthday afternoon doing the cheese & charcuterie tasting. Brilliant setting, great knowledge and insight from Becky about the local produce available in Scotland. Best bit was learning about pairings that go with the cheeses and meats. Loved that we were able to buy a few bits in the deli to recreate the experience again at home with friends. Left happy and full. Will definitely be back.”
